Wouldn't you love to take a ride on this large scale model Railroad Steam Engine? This is a c1920 cabinet card photograph of a machine shop. Two machinists and what I take to be a white collar supervisor type man and his child. Maybe the shop supervisor? Likely the shop workers were asked to make this large scale model riding steam engine for the child of the Suit.Take a close looks at the photo. Heavy duty metal lathe, what looks like a press in the background and everything belt driven. The drive belt just under the ceiling is actively spinning but the various power transmission belts are idle. You can see a few heavy, possibly railroad car axles on the floor.
