c1860 Tintype of Two Men - a Carpenter and a Farrier c1860 Tintype of two men, maybe they are brothers? One is holding a handsaw and a patented mitre & try square. The other holds a blacksmth's hammer and a horseshoe.Take a look at those suspenders! If you look carefully at the man holding the handsaw you can see a chain watchfob with a key at his waist. This tintype was likely taken on location by a traveling tintype photographer judging by the canvas backdrop, the somewhat worn chair and the tree stump.
