While updating my reprint of the Peter Nicholson's The Student Instructor, soon to be live and in print, I reread the J. Taylor book catalog that had been inserted in the original book. There are books listed by Taylor that I would love to own, to read, or to reprint. So many books, so little time and let's face it, the process from start to publication is both time intensive and costly.
Which allows me to segue to a related topic: cash, moola, money, finances, funds, payola. In the very near future I'll add a Patreon function to this site in order to help defray the expenses involved in both producing reprints and in maintaining this blog. There will also be an email and/or RSS feed option added. That too costs $. I'm older and slower but bit by bit, I get to where I am going, even if I don't always know where that going is to be.
For now, enjoy this rarely seen early 19th century catalog of architectural books from the inimitable J. Taylor of London.
